🌷 A little piece of the Netherlands in Switzerland

Just like in the Netherlands, spring has arrived early in Switzerland. Not great for skiing, but very enjoyable. I couldn’t resist buying a beautiful bunch of tulips to bring a bit of spring into the house – and with it, a small piece of the Netherlands.

It’s funny how something so small can instantly make you think of home.

Living as an expat is a special experience. You discover new places, different habits and traditions, and you meet many new people. It’s exciting and enriching, but of course there are moments when you miss your home country.

Maybe because my family and I have moved our entire household to another country several times, I really enjoy helping other expats with their own adventure: settling in the Netherlands. What makes it even nicer is that I can combine this with my work as a Virtual Assistant – working location-independently while helping others feel at home more quickly.
